I want to talk about a great artist that sounds a lot like Mumford and Sons, and his name is Phillip Phillips. Phillip Phillips was the winner of American Idol last year and has come out with his song Home that was number one on the charts. Home is a great song that talks about someone that has just moved to a new place and he is saying that he/she stays with him then he will "make this place he/she's home." He just recently came out with a new album that has Home and many other great songs on it, but the one that stood out to me was Gone, Gone, Gone which talks is about a couple and the boyfriend/husband is talking to his girlfriend/wife and saying that no matter what happens even after she is "gone," he will always be there.
